For our Canadian backers who are seeing extremely high shipping prices:

There are shipping options at alternative prices available to you. Here's how to get to those prices.

1. After you have confirmed your address, you will see a page similar to the one below that asks you to select a handling option for import tax & duty. DO NOT choose "Pre-pay;" choose "Pay on arrival."

1. Once you choose "Pay on arrival," you will be led to a screen that will offer you a selection of shipping options. Here, you can choose what courier you prefer. (The below is an example; your shipping costs may differ based on where you live.)

Again, we apologize for this! We hope that following these steps will help you find a better shipping price.

For Canadian backers who paid higher shipping and would have preferred to have options: We are working with Easyship to figure out how to let you re-do your shipping survey. We will update you here!

Have any other questions regarding shipping?

By now, all backers should have received an Easyship survey. Please let us know via email ([email protected]) if you have any questions or have not received your Easyship survey.

If you are in Canada and seeing an extremely high shipping fee, please hold off on filling out your shipping survey. We understand that many of you were overcharged. We have contacted our shipping partner and are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We will send an update as soon as we have more information. Get ready: Games arrived at the fulfillment center!

Hi Picky Eaters!

We're going to go right to the point on this update. Our games have arrived at their port in California and are currently at our fulfillment center, getting prepped to be sent to you. That means there's just one step separating you from experiencing Picky Eaters: completing your Easyship survey.

What is the Easyship survey?

You may remember filling out a survey with Backerkit, which confirmed your order. The Easyship survey confirms shipping, which means you not only confirm your address but pay any shipping fees that may be remaining. You will also be able to add insurance or change your shipping method if you'd like. 

When do I get my Easyship survey?

Easyship surveys will be going out next week. Please keep an eye out for them, and check your spam inbox in case they land there.

What happens after I complete my Easyship survey?

As we mentioned, games are currently being prepped for delivery at our fulfillment center. Once you confirm your address and shipping charges are paid, games will be shipped to you. Depending on where you are in the world, you should receive games between 1-4 weeks after your survey is completed. February is going to be a wonderful month!

Hi Picky Eaters!

Happy winter! It's cold outside and we're staying warm by making bread and soup at home. We hope you're also having good food to close out the year!

We've got some big news, so let's dive right in.

Mass production: check!

Mass production and final assembly of Picky Eaters has officially wrapped! All games are currently on boats on their way to our fulfillment center. 

What does this mean? Well, we're right on schedule to deliver games early next year. Games should be arriving to port in about two months. After that, they will be heading over to you!

Here's what you need to know about next steps in shipping.

A few weeks before we ship to you, you will receive a shipping survey from EasyShip. In this survey, you will be able to change your shipping address if necessary.

• If you backed Picky Eaters during our Kickstarter, you will complete any remaining shipping fees.
• If you pre-ordered Picky Eaters on BackerKit, you will pay for shipping in this survey. 

A few tidbits:

•  A big announcement for 2024: Remember when we said in our last update that something was cooking at Le Fou? Well we're ready to spill the beans, and you, our backers, are hearing it first... We're proud to announce Le Fou's next campaign coming in Spring 2024, Picky Eaters: Ultimate Collection! This campaign will feature not 1, not 2, but 3 expansions, a Lazy Susan (by popular request!), and lots of surprises. Sign up now to receive the exclusive Chicago Hot Dog mini-expansion and access to VIP pricing during the campaign for just $1!

• Itching to play Picky Eaters before you get your physical copy? You can now play online at Ludio. The folks at Ludio did a fantastic job creating an automated online version of Picky Eaters with a quick tutorial to get you playing right away. (Note: you will need to create a Ludio account to play. Take advantage of their one week free trial!)
•  We are on Discord! We will be announcing livestreams and hosting other Picky Eaters-related events on there. Say hi to your fellow picky eaters!

Finalize your Picky Eaters order by November 28!

Hi Picky Eaters!

It's the pickiest time of the year! Thanksgiving is around the corner in the US, and we here at Le Fou are enjoying all the pies, sides, and scrumptious snacks that come with this time of the year! 

Amidst all of the hullaballoo of the season, we are still working hard to get Picky Eaters to backers as soon as possible. Mass production is still underway and we are right on schedule. We're now finalizing details for shipping and getting our games from the factory to all of our awesome backers around the world. It's not an easy process, but we're excited that we're nearly ready to release Picky Eaters to the world!

On that note, please finalize your orders by November 28.

• For those of you who backed our campaign this summer and haven't added anything to your orders, you're all set! If you'd like any add-ons, though, this is your last chance to add them in BackerKit!
• For those of you who have gotten add-ons and/or purchased Picky Eaters through our BackerKit pre-order store, please make sure your orders are finalized. We will be locking all orders on November 28. After 48 hours, BackerKit will process orders, and on November 30, your cards will be charged.
• 94% of you have completed your survey in BackerKit! To the 6% of you who haven't, please fill out your survey to ensure you receive your order on time. If you are having trouble with your survey, email [email protected] and they will guide you through any issues!

What does locking orders mean for Picky Eaters? On November 28, backers will have 48 hours to add any last items to their orders. On November 30, cards will be charged for add-ons/pre-orders and our pre-order store will close. So if you know someone who has been dillydallying on getting Picky Eaters or you'd like to add more to your order, you've only got a few more days to do so — hurry!  

One last thing: THANK YOU to every one of you. Your support for Picky Eaters means so much to us and we are excited for Picky Eaters to get in your hands!

A few tidbits:

•  We were on a livestream! On Wednesday, November 1, we joined Beneeta of @beneeta_k on Twitch with her guest Amanda of @Panda8ngel on Twitch for a playthrough of Picky Eaters. It was tons of fun discussing picky eating habits! Check out the livestream below! 

•  We were at Tabletop Network in Dallas! Tanya had the honor of joining some of the best tabletop game designers in the world in Dallas for two days of absolutely nerdy game design chitchat. She was able to playtest a few games, think critically about how to make intuitive and thoughtful games (a core goal here at Le Fou), and consume burritos four times in the course of 48 hours (an enviable feat!). A big thanks to the New Voices in Gaming scholarship, which awards new game designers from underrepresented groups the chance to mingle with and learn from other game designers.
•  Something new is cooking at Le Fou...: We can't talk about it yet, but suffice it to say 2024 will be a busy one here at Le Fou!
