If you've been wondering what happened to the Monarch launch...
Well, Kickstarter helped build Le Fou and introduced Picky Eaters (one of NPR's 2024 games of the year!) to the world, so we felt it was only appropriate we launch Monarch on Kickstarter!
You may have read the flood of positive reviews we've been getting for Monarch from both experienced gamers and newbies alike. In just two months, you too can get a hold of this "simple yet beautiful game"!
Monarch takes "easy to learn, hard to master" to a whole new level. Prepare to get inside your opponent's head in a completely new way. Don't let these stunning butterflies fool you!

You’re having a dinner party — but some of your guests aren’t cooperative. They can’t eat something, or they don’t like something — and you have to make things work! In games lasting roughly a half hour to an hour, you’ll go to the grocery store, make a recipe and stir in special ingredients. Picky Eaters has fun food illustrations and just enough strategy to keep things interesting. Plus, it packs up well, so it’s easy to travel with it.
